Setting out on a newsgroup ramble
I chanced my arm and took a gamble.
I met a woman, so schon und selig;
She asked me in and gave me earwigs.
And I said;
‘Do you come from the land of abthite
Where posters seldom flame or infight?
I seem to see the sunlight;
I'd better take, I'd better take notice'
As I hunched in a crouch half-foetal
I heard the scuttling of a Beetle.
I asked; "Are the folks here pleasant?"
She just smiled, said ‘Mornington Crescent'
And I said;
‘Do you come from the land of abthite
Where posts are made well after midnight?
I seem to see the sunlight;
I'd better take, I'd better take notice'
Said a chief in his robes and finery;
"My name is Paul, I post in Binery.
If a blast rocks the sacred grove, it's
Probably a slip by Chris Suslowicz"
And I said;
